The wisdom of Yoga and Somatic Practice.

Self Care that Heals.

Polyvagal informed yoga that is combined with a trauma-sensitive approach offers a science based opportunity for healing from PTSD and Complex Trauma. Polyvagal theory - The Science of Safety - teaches that when we feel safe, our nervous system recognizes this safety - creating an essential foundation for healing. My classes integrate vagus nerve toning and breath techniques with gentle self guided lymphatic/fascia massage - to help you sense into your body and cultivate a relationship with your autonomic nervous system. These practices promote safety and grounding in the present moment.

Rooted in my personal journey with trauma, I emphasize vulnerability and authenticity in my teaching. It's crucial to meet yourself where you are—whether that means embracing stillness, exploring gentle movement, noticing your breath or practicing silence. There is no "right" way to participate; it's about your unique process, at your own pace.

Cultivate self-compassion and healing, learn to listen to your body and trust its wisdom, find your voice through expression, support your ongoing journey toward resilience and balance, reclaiming the essence of your true nature.

Whether you're curious about yoga or seeking a mindful connection to your body, this space is for you. Here, you can foster self-trust, reclaim your agency, and take empowering steps toward peace in your body and mind.

Through polyvagal informed yoga classes, we explore a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to healing - using simple, empowering practices What is polyvagal theory? Simply said it is The Science of Safety. When we feel safe in our enviornment our nervous system senses safety, here is where healing is possible. Trauma informed and vagal toning. The opportunity to explore mindfulness (the present moment) while sensing into your body, nurturing your own agency and cultivating an understanding of your unique autonomic nervous system.

These practices create a sense of safety and grounding in the present moment.

The importance of meeting yourself where you are, your unique process ~ whether that means embracing stillness or exploring gentle movement, practicing silence or finding your voice through expression, you are met in your own essence.
